Eastnor Castle Wedding Highlights of Alfred & Meng

Beautiful settings, a gorgeous couple and great weather!

Alfred and Meng found us using good old google – we didn’t get to meet though until the day as the couple reside in London and we’re in Derbyshire. Sometimes this happens… we just get on and do our job. We did have a telephone conference call beforehand so we knew exactly what they wanted and expected for their wedding film. Although Alfred and Meng are Chinese, they opted for a more Western style theme on their wedding day as they had already back in China held their cultural pre wedding ceremonies then.

Alfred and Meng were married and held their reception at Eastnor Castle near Ledbury in Herefordshire. A stunning venue that is set in beautiful countryside and perfect for a wedding. I can’t say enough about this venue it is perfect! The Wedding Planner on the day is extremely efficient, very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed filming there – a first for us but hopefully not the last.

Meng had an absolutely stunning dress with an incredibly long cathedral train that she had purchased in China. She told me that it had taken up a whole seat on the plane and yes I can see why! The aline gown was patterned with clusters of flowers and she looked amazing. The groom and groomsmen all looked very smart in their tails with the bridesmaids all wearing pink knee length aline satin dresses. It was great to film her bridal preparations and I was made to feel very welcome. Barry filmed the groom and his groomsmen getting ready. We also had the privilege of working alongside Christian Keenan Photograpy and his assistant Poppy who are Jersey based photographers with offices in Jersey, London and China so they cover a lot of big weddings worldwide. Great people to know and work with. A fantastic day was had by all and a thoroughly enjoyable one.
