Himley Hall, Dudley Wedding Highlights of Rachael & Aidan

It was our first visit to Himley Hall near Dudley to film the civil wedding of Rachael and Aidan. Himley Hall is set in a country park estate and is a Council owned Grade II listed building that is licensed to conduct civil ceremonies.

Rachael came across us via one of her friends at work who was friends with one of our previous brides, Hollie. It was this friend via facebook that recommended us by sharing with Rachael, Hollie & Ashley’s wedding highlights. So that was really nice to know and also that Social Media played its part in getting this new booking.

The day brought lovely sunshine which was very welcomed given all the rain we had had all through the summer of 2012. An added bonus too as Rachael had organised two VW Beetle Convertibles for her and her bridesmaids to arrive in so it was nice for the top to be down on the day! Rachael wore a beautiful Mori Lee slim fitted gown in white with ruffle layers and chapel train. With her slim figure and tan she looked beautiful. Aidan wore a silver grey suit with fushia pink tie with his groomsmen wearing apple green ties to match the overall colour scheme.

Photographs were taken by Dawn Molina Photography, based in the Dudley area. Dawn is a very happy, bubbly person and we enjoyed our first time working with her. After the ceremony and photos at Himley Hall, the couple and their guests made their way to the David Lloyd Leisure Centre in Brierley Hill for their reception and barbecue. A great day was had by all – such a lovely couple to work with. After the wedding the couple were off to the Lake District for a few days without their two children to be followed by a family holiday to Ibiza. Many congratulations Rachael and Aidan.
