Amy & Lee are just a lovely couple to know and work with plus they’re keen amateur singers and rather good! The happy couple tied the knot at St Giles Church in the Derbyshire village of Matlock during the summer of 2012 after 6 years of being together and getting engaged at Christmas back in 2010. After the wedding Amy and Lee held their reception at Santo’s Higham Farm Hotel, Higham, near Alfreton, Derbyshire.
Filming commenced with me (Tracey) filming Amy’s bridal preparations at her home in Cromford. Amy had chosen a beautiful Ronald Joyce wedding dress in ivory with lots of sparkle and tulle. Amy looked fabulous in her dress. Lee and his groomsmen opted for smart light grey suits with fuschia pink cravats to match the pink colour theme.
Arriving at the venue in a blue jaguar the happy couple joined their guests for a welcome drink before the photoshoot. There are stunning views over the Amber Valley from the hotel. Unfortunately due to sodden ground, the actual hotel’s garden were out of bounds so we didn’t get to go in them to film the happy couple in the santuary of what seem like lovely gardens with lots of photo/filming opportunities. We made the most of what was available to us working alongside the photographers “Catchlights Photography” based near Stockport. Nice friendly guys to work with. A very pleasant day and a lovely wedding.
