First Dance Filming Example – Filmed at Stoneleigh Abbey

I’m trying to build up a small portfolio of parts of a wedding day from all different weddings that we have filmed, just so that you can see how we capture and edit these parts together. A bridal preparation example can be found in the archives for May 2013 just in case you haven’t seen it! Again every wedding is different and it is our aim to capture the moment and the mood :-).

Here is Jayne and Paul’s first dance beautifully choreographed to Seal’s A Kiss From a Rose. It was filmed by us, using 2 Canon 7Ds & 2 Canon 600Ds. The wedding reception took place at the stunning Stoneleigh Abbey in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. The full highlights can be watched in the April 2013 archives.

Not all first dances are choreographed but I thought this was a nice one to share purely to show how great our cameras work in low lit situations :-). Since filming this though we have now invested in 2x Canon 5D MKIII cameras that film fantastically in low light! Night time filmmaking like wedding receptions, is no longer an issue for these cameras or for us!
