Wolverhampton Wedding Highlights of Saru & Carlos

With lots of summer weddings to edit through, I’ve been a tad slack in updating the blog.  This morning, I thought I would share another wedding we filmed earlier on in the wedding season.

Saru and Carlos held their wedding blessing at St Peter’s Collegiate Church in the city of Wolverhampton. The couple had already legally married at the Register Office the year before.  It was our first time filming at this church and our first blessing at that and a very enjoyable experience it was too.  The after party celebrations were held at the Ramada Park Hall Hotel & Spa again another venue we had not had the privilege to film at.  The day started with the filming of the bridal preparations.  The house was pretty full of lots of guests when I arrived so I plonked myself in the corner standing on the bed, as that was the only practical place to go out of the way.  Barry on the other hand, went to the hotel to capture some footage of the groom and his groomsmen.  Saru’s bridal gown was just beautiful and suited her so perfectly made of lots of lace and petticoats .  I also got my first ever ride in a limo as I travelled to the church with the lovely bridesmaids.  Saru and Carlos originate from Zimbabwe and it was great to capture some of their African customs both during the blessing and throughout the day.  Carlos’ sister did the honour of the photos and it was lovely working alongside.   It was a great wedding to have the honour of filming and Saru and Carlos are two just wonderful people and both Barry and I wish them many, many years of happiness together with their little family.
